Blau  (2d cut-out stop-motion animation, 11:48 min., 2025) reflects on the solitary confrontation with loneliness, in which nature and the aesthetic beauty and depth of a color offer comfort.

For this film, I had the opportunity to collaborate with sound animator Wart Wamsteker, who knew how to create sounds that would resonate beautifully and profoundly with these visuals, and musician René Duursma, whose enchanting and experimental soundscape carries the whole picture.
